Angola is one of the priority countries for United Arab Emirates’ investments, and it is expected that in 2023 the two countries will further strengthen existing partnerships.

Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, one of the UAE’s royal families, at the end of the audience granted to him by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola to the UAE, Albino Malungo, at the Diplomatic Mission premises in Abu Dhabi.”It was a great honor to meet and talk to the Angolan Ambassador to the UAE”, said Mr. Lapa, informing that the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Al Qassimi had already sent a delegation to the country, with the group’s focus being essentially the strategic industry in developing countries, as well as projects in the sectors of Agriculture, Construction, Minerals and Energy.
At the meeting, the CEO took the opportunity to invite, on behalf of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi, member of one of the ruling families of the UAE, the Head of the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in the UAE to participate in the forum called “FDI World – Diplomatic Round Tables” scheduled for 23.02. 2023 in the city of Ras Al Khaimah. in addition to business partnerships, Angola and the United Arab Emirates have signed several Memoranda of Understanding, with emphasis on the implementation of the Digital Transformation Program (Digital Angola 2024), for Cooperation and Exploitation of Opportunities in the most varied Sectors, for Cooperation in the Transport Sector and another for Exploring the Implementation of a Solar Energy and Energy Storage Programme.
